Model agencies in the province of Milan

Italy has no licence specific to model agencies. Employment agencies are entered in the Ministry of Labour's Albo informatico delle Agenzie per il Lavoro, which is publicly searchable. We searched that register for nineteen Milan and Rome agency names — Elite, Why Not, Women, Fashion, Brave, IMG, Next, d'management and others — and for the terms “model”, “modelle” and “agenzia modelle”: no result.

The control works: “LITE GROUP” returns “ELITE GROUP S.R.L.”, “ADECCO” returns 32. The register answers — model agencies are simply not in it, because they operate as representation agencies, outside legislative decree 276/2003. There is therefore no “licensed agency” badge to show here, and anyone showing you one is making it up.
