Licence and checking
In France, a model agency licence is compulsory (Labour Code, art. L. 7123-11 et seq.). It is issued by the Prefect of Paris for an indefinite period, requires a financial guarantee of at least €15,200 to cover wages in case of default, and every order is published in the Official Journal — that is what makes it enforceable.
